Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading plant operations on your shift—ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met while supporting and developing your team.

This is a rotating 12-hour shift position (days and nights), ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Safety & Operations

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Oversee daily production activities to meet operational targets
• Respond to and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively

Leadership & People Management

• Supervise, coach, and support production employees
• Manage scheduling, performance feedback, and training
• Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
• Participate in production meetings, safety initiatives, and improvement projects

Qualifications

• High school diploma (post-secondary education is an asset)
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, or equivalent experience

Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to motivate teams and manage performance
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
