Maibec CanExel has been in business for over 55 years and has a workforce of approximately 180 employees in our East River facility.<\/p>\n<p>Maibec CanExel is located in East River, Nova Scotia (just outside of Hubbards). The location is 1 minute off Exit 7 from Highway #103, making it an easy commute of approximately 30 minutes from Bayers Lake or Bridgewater.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently expanding our operations team. Production \/ Equipment Operators are an integral part of our team and are leaders in safe practices.<\/p>\n<p>Our starting rate of pay in this position is a minimum of <strong>$22.12<\/strong><b>\/hr<\/b>. After training, you can earn up to\u00a0<b>$26.59\/hr<\/b>\u00a0by the end of your first year and up to\u00a0<b>$33.24\/hr<\/b>\u00a0by the end of your second year. We also offer an additional\u00a0<b>$1.35\/hr<\/b>\u00a0for shift premium when working on night shift.
